Today I am highlight instructions on how to make a Tent Card. This card is very nice especially during the holidays when it can be displayed on a mantel or table as special decorations. Please follow these step by step directions to make the simple easy fun fold card.
Select your Card Stock for the base of your card. Cut the card stock at 4 1/2" then score at 5 1/2" and fold your card. Here I have used the retired Blueberry Bushel Card Stock.
On the back of my card I have selected a pattern paper that matches the front of the card and have allowed a large portion of Whisper White card stock for my message as shown below.
Cut a second piece of matching Card Stock 4" by 4 1/2" and score on the 4" side at 1/2", 2", and 3 1/2". Fold at each score line mountain/valley style as shown below. Place tear tape on the two flaps (1/2" and 3 1/2" ).
Lay your card open flat on the table and place the folded flaps on the front and back of the inside of your card. Close the card and press to adhere the tape securely.
